PowerVista RollCall is divided into four main areas: New Records, Maintain Information, Tasks and Support.
The process of adding records and updating records is separated into
different windows. New Records windows are wizards that streamline the
process of adding new Students, Classes, Merchandise, Events and
Invoices. Maintenance windows are used to update existing records.
These windows can also be used to execute common tasks, such as
registering for a Class. The Tasks windows are used to simplify normal
processes, such as Event Registration. The Support area is used to
maintain global and supporting information. The Navigation panel (the
shortcut bar window docked to the right of the task window) provides a
shortcut to the main RollCall windows.
The Administration window is used to maintain
global information about RollCall preferences and the
business's setup. RollCall is designed to support a wide range of
education businesses, and to have the ability to adapt to each
organization in many different ways. One way is by customizing text
values, another is by customizing window display for the selections in
the Processing Options tab. See Customized
