PowerVista Applications

PowerVista Applications are built using Regeneratable Styles to create Software Built for Change for selected vertical markets. Each of the applications are designed to be a comprehensive application to meet the needs of a particular vertical market. Each application demonstrates the versatility and efficiency of using PowerVista Bridge to develop database applications. 

The applications listed below come packaged in several editions. The Standard Edition of each application uses the included (free) PowerVista database to provide single-user access to the application. The Enterprise Edition is used to connect the application to any supported, commercial ODBC database such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server. The Enterprise Editions of the software require that the target database platform be licensed and properly installed before connecting to the PowerVista application. Development versions of each application are also available. The Standard Development version comes packaged with PowerVista Bridge Standard Edition which supports development using the single-user PowerVista database. The Enterprise Development Edition supports development for an ODBC database platform. 

A single installed development edition can be used to develop any number of applications. Any PowerVista Standard Edition installation can create any number of single-user applications. Any PowerVista Enterprise Edition can be used to create any number of multi-user applications for any supported database platform. Each development edition is installed with all available StyleLibraries and also all available PowerVista application source code.

RollCall

RollCall is a complete membership/student management application. It is used to track Students, Classes, Inventory, Facilities and Events. RollCall manages registration, exams and results, invoicing, membership fees and historical data. RollCall contains a comprehensive reporting system, supports bulk emailing and catalog printing along with analysis features. It is well suited to larger organizations, with workstation views for Student and Instructor information. RollCall includes a Point of Sale window for merchandise sales and income analysis tools.

GlobalFamily

GlobalFamily is a management application for organizations involved in building post-adoption communities of international families. GlobalFamily tracks families, adults and children in families, Agencies, Institutions and Birthplace information. It has a section for tracking 'Friends' of the organization, managing volunteer tasks and assignments and Events for families, adults and children. It is designed to be used by largely volunteer organizations, and includes a variety of tools for increasing communication and community among member families.
